Meet The Person Behind Policain Creations Publishing

 Massachusetts based artist, Mary Poliquin (Policain Creations and Artfully Threaded), is self taught and found her passion for color and design in 2018 while experimenting with ways to make jewelry. Using alcohol inks with or without resin as a base for much of her artwork, Mary relies on her unique sense of style to produce colorful pieces that can feature anything from people, animals and birds to landscapes and seascapes. Mary lets each fluid piece dictate what it needs to bring any number of scenes to life, allowing the creative process to be fun and the outcome (periodically) unexpected, but it also results in a cohesive and beautiful piece of art. She has been experimenting with photography and digital designing as a way to expand her portfolio. Mary's designs can be found on clothing and many other items and she is excited to be able to add Stationery, Journals and more to her offerings while also working on a series of children's books.
